I just hopped on to Google Images and immediately noticed that there was an extra line of text inviting me to tag (they use the word “label”) random images with other Google users LIVE. This is Social Media at its best. Google just hired its hundreds of millions of users to organize all of their poorly labeled images for them in a fun and entertaining way FOR FREE! Brilliant.
Try it out before it disappears!

This has actually been there for a long time. I also thought it was brilliant on Google’s part when I discovered it and wrote about it on my blog here:

Well, I finally figured out why I haven’t seen this before! I always use Google.ca not Google.com ( a Canuck thing…)
Mine is an Aussie thing we use Google.au – there seems to be a North American Imperialism in Googles approach or am I misinterpreting here!
No surprise there Max…
